Lovebug Films partnered with Two Palms to bring a unique and hilarious twist to The Boys Season 4 marketing for Amazon Prime with the "Grannies React" campaign.
A tricky issue on this one was syncing the recorded reactions with each episode. Premiere's AI text editing function was a real hero here, allowing me to perform live text searches for relevant dialogue.
The heart of this project lay in the offline edit, requiring a keen eye for comedic timing and narrative flow, creating an engaging and shareable piece of content. While also keeping clear of visual gore that might be restricted online.
Following the offline edit, Lovebug films also performed the colour grade and sound mix, ensuring crystal-clear dialogue from the grannies, impactful sound bites from "The Boys," and a balanced overall audio experience. Captions and lower thirds were also added through the Online phase.
16:9 and 9:16 edits were built and delivered.
