Efficient Post-Production Pipeline
Lovebug Films delivered comprehensive commercial post-production services for the Venus Intimate campaign, prioritizing technical precision and aesthetic control to meet premium advertising standards. This project ensured efficiency by operating a seamless remote workflow for global production efficiency, facilitating direct cloud-based collaboration beginning with the direct cloud transfer of ARRI rushes via Frame.io straight to the NLE storage.
By operating a simultaneous Offline and Online workflow, typical bottlenecks were removed by streamlining the post process. This allowed Offline edits to be worked on adjacent to the Online’s and could be pushed directly into finishing and updated simply without the need for traditional re-briefing or handovers.
With footage captured in both vertical and landscape, unique video editing sequences were crafted for every required ratio. Requiring consistency and narrative impact across multiple bespoke assets.
Colour Grading with an AI-Integrated Workflow
To transition winter footage into a vibrant "summer" aesthetic, an AI-integrated workflow was utilized. High-end commercial colour grading services were performed using DaVinci Resolve, leveraging AI mask selection and tracking to enable precise skin tone balancing and warmth enhancements with increased efficiency. Depth matte's were also created to apply grades and effects targeted specifically at foreground or background elements that could be procedurally applied as the Offline edits were updated, removing the need for reconstructing masks.
Comprehensive Finishing Services
Premium final delivery was achieved through integrated finishing components. High-end beauty and fashion retouching was performed, utilizing digital painting, frame-by-frame motion tracking, and rotoscoping for precise asset repositioning. Supers were created in After Effects. A full mix was provided in ProTools, and delivered to spec for online despatch.
